Founded in 1973 by Peter van Rensselaer Schuyler, Ambion is the result of a strategy developed by an advanced thinker, trained in chemistry, who valued industrial efficiency. He believed the right chemistry could make manufacturing cleaner, faster and more efficient, and he built Ambion on that conviction.
A highly skilled formulator, Peter devoted his career to solving the practical problems manufacturers face every day. Over five decades, that work grew into a comprehensive formulation library that includes some of the most effective products available on the market today, from copper wire strippers metal finishing, burnishing compounds, industrial cleaners to conformal coating removers for printed circuit boards.
Today, Ambion's CEO and President is Peter's daughter, Mieke Schuyler. Ms. Schuyler sees the future of Ambion much as her father envisioned it at its founding: practical, efficient chemistry in service of the industries that depend on it.
With a strong, well-supported R&D department and highly efficient internal processes, Ambion is a cauldron of advanced thinking in chemistry, designed to advance industrial ambitions.
